2009 Winners Announced!

“Essays of Freedom” are essay contests sponsored by the Constitution Party of Missouri. The purpose of these contests is to encourage young people to investigate and discover the principles of individual liberty and the proper role of government as they were conceived by our country’s founding fathers. The essays can also provide an excellent forum for advanced studies and further research in the areas of government and history.

Today’s youth are our future leaders. It is crucial that they increase their knowledge and understanding of constitutional government through the study of our

country’s founding documents. These documents reveal the intent of our forefathers and are the basis of the freedom we hold so dear.

Each contest features a different topic. Contests are held throughout the year, especially around our country’s important historical dates such as the Fourth of July, Constitution Day, and Presidents Day.

2009 Winners

All high school students, whether in public, private or home schools, are welcome to participate. Contest may be limited to a specific metropolitan area. Please check the application for more details. Winners are recognized at a public event and publicized in the local media.
